Super fast charging shortens the charging time to only a few minutes. The charger manufacturer converts AC power to direct current (DC) outside the car, bypassing the on-board charger (OBC), and directly powers the battery pack of the electric vehicle.
This method can increase the charging power to 400 kilowatts.
However, this conversion phase will generate power loss, and the end user (ie, the owner of the electric car) does not have to pay for this.
