According to the statistic, from 2035 , in Europe (2040 in other area of the world), it is estimated that the electric vehicles will be the only firsthand cars to be sold . It means it is neccesary that we get ready for the future electric vehicles and make it sure the charging infrastructure meets the exponentially increasing demand.

Let's take a look at the changes in the past 10 years.

Before 2013, a total of 15,000 charging stations were installed in Europe. So far, there are 25,927 public electric vehicle charging devices in the UK alone, of which 4,923 are fast charging stations.

There will be 1.3 million public charging stations by 2025. In 2030, the whole Europe is expected to have 40 million electric vehicles, and the reasonable ratio for electric vehicles to public charging station per thousand is between 11 and 14. Approximately 2.9 million public charging stations are needed.
