EMC test is a comprehensive assessment of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and immunity (EMS) of electronic products. the purpose of EMC test is that electrical equipment should be able to work normally in a certain electromagnetic environment, that is, with a certain degree of electromagnetic immunity (EMS); the electromagnetic disturbance generated by the electrical equipment itself should not have an excessive impact on other electronic products, that is, electromagnetic disturbance (EMI). EMC is EMC is one of the most important indicators of product quality; many electrical products have to pass EMC certification before they can be produced and sold.
Energy meter belongs to electronic products and is a measurement product in the EMC test GB/T 17215.211-2021, IEC62052-11 2020 standard requirements. Today, I will take you a brief understanding of the EMC requirements
1, electrostatic discharge immunity test: electrostatic discharge test includes direct discharge test (8kV) and indirect discharge test (15kV); the number of discharges is more than 10 times under the operating condition of the energy meter only at working voltage.
2, RF electromagnetic field immunity test: exposed to electromagnetic field cable length 1m, frequency range 80MHz ~ 2000MHz, 80% amplitude modulation carrier modulation on 1k Hz sine wave. With load current unmodulated test field strength of 10V / m, no load current unmodulated test field strength of 30V / m.
3, fast transient pulse group: meter in working condition, the current and voltage lines on the test voltage 4kV; voltage over 40V on the auxiliary line test voltage 2kV; test time 60s per polarity.
4, radio frequency field induction conducted harassment immunity test: meter in the working state, the radio frequency field frequency of 150kHz ~ 80MHz, voltage 10V.
5, surge immunity test: in the operating state of the energy meter only working voltage, current and voltage lines on the test voltage of 4kV, voltage over 40V on the auxiliary line test voltage of 1kV; positive and negative polarity 5 times each.
6, attenuation shock wave immunity test: only for the transformer work of the energy meter, the meter in the working state, the voltage line and the reference voltage more than 40V on the auxiliary line test voltage: common mode 2.5kV, differential mode 1.0kV; test frequency 100kHz repetition rate of 40Hz, 1MHz repetition rate of 400Hz
7, radio interference suppression: energy meter in the working state, current between 0.1Ib ~ 0.2Ib; test results should meet the requirements of GB9254 regulations
